The Utsav Vidyarambha 2025-26 was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Dhemaji on 1st April 2025, as part of the initiative under Samagra Siksha, Assam. The event featured a variety of colourful and ceremonial activities conducted in schools, following the guidelines outlined in the Utsav Vidyarambha Programme. In addition to these activities, the District Commissioner of Dhemaji assigned a team of government officials to visit selected schools with high enrolment numbers. Key dignitaries, including the District Commissioner, Additional District Commissioner, and officials from various government establishments, actively participated in the celebrations, underscoring the importance of education in the district.

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Dhemaji, organized a District Level Training on the Incident Response System (IRS) along with a Table Top Exercise to strengthen disaster preparedness and response. The program aimed to enhance the skills and coordination of officials and stakeholders involved in disaster management. Participants were trained on the roles, responsibilities, and structure of the IRS, followed by a practical table top exercise simulating emergency scenarios. The training helped improve understanding of effective response strategies, communication, and resource management, ensuring better preparedness for future emergencies in the district.

The “Run for Unity” was celebrated in Dhemaji on 29 October 2024 with great enthusiasm and participation from people of all ages. The event was organized to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and to promote the message of national unity and integrity. Participants gathered early in the morning, displaying banners and slogans highlighting the importance of unity. The run was flagged off by local officials and saw active involvement from students, government employees, and residents, making it a memorable and spirited occasion for the Dhemaji community.
